Today I was thinking about my life, and where it is going and where I have come from. I then began to write a story in my mind that went something like this:
If you were to tell me 6 months ago that I would be living in Nebraska, in a large home, that I was courageous enough to drive a 26ft Penske truck 1200 miles from home, and that my oldest daughter would be living in Idaho... I think I would call you crazy. But at last, here we are! My life has been a little like a movie, or book lately. We left our friends, family, fame, fortune and everything else that mattered, or we thought that mattered to us, to listen to the Lord. That sounds crazy, but so true. I don't know all the reasons why I am here, hopefully it is to make a difference in someone's life for the better, or maybe its so that someone else can make an impact in mine.
So with all that said, let me tell you a little about our crazy family. My name is Judy, and my husbands is Al. We have 4 adorable kids, although they are more like teens now.
Jaicelyn is going to college in Rexburg, ID at BYUI. This is her first year there, and is learning to live on her own. Oh how I loved college. It was some of the most fun times I have had in my life. I look back and realize those years were the years I learned to do so much, wash my own clothes, budget, flirt, be myself, and love me!
Jaicelyn is Miss Emery County 2013. She will be competing in the Miss Utah Pageant, and we cannot wait! How fun.. here she is with her Jr. Miss
